Our Work
At Take Care Black Girl Foundation, our work is grounded in compassion, equity, and empowerment. We focus on meeting the real, everyday needs of Black girls—while also nurturing their long-term growth, self-worth, and leadership. From mental health to mentorship, education to community care, we are committed to building a world where Black girls are safe, supported, and celebrated.

We prioritize emotional and mental well-being through access to therapy, healing spaces, self-care resources, and wellness workshops. We break stigmas around mental health and provide culturally competent support for Black girls dealing with trauma, stress, and systemic pressures.

Our mentorship programs pair young Black girls with trusted women role models who guide, support, and inspire. We host leadership bootcamps, confidence-building sessions, and personal development programs that prepare girls to lead in every space they occupy.

We work to close the opportunity gap by providing scholarships, tutoring, school supplies, and college prep assistance. Our academic empowerment programs encourage Black girls to dream big and reach their full educational potential.

Through Sister Circles, empowerment events, and outreach, we build safe, affirming environments where Black girls feel seen, valued, and connected. We create spaces of joy, rest, and community rooted in cultural pride and collective healing.

We speak up and show up. Our advocacy work centers Black girls in conversations about policy, media, education, and equity. We fight for their rights, amplify their voices, and demand representation where it matters most.
